The Compass Leadership Club

NEW!! Children have the desire to be heard and understood, as well as valued for their ideas and thoughts. All too often it’s the loudest or the most insistent one in a group that is heard. Through engaging activities, individual projects, and community service, we’ll help students to understand that the volume and insistence does not dictate the leader. Students will learn that leadership comes from determination, persistence, and a desire to go beyond what is currently the norm.

Creative Writing Workshop

NEW!! Creative Writing Workshop with Prof. Watermelon (author) starts Thursday March 15th for a 6-week session in the FCE Library. Classes are 3:45-4:45pm for grades 2-5.

Playground Fundraising!!

A new playground for our Primary/Kindergarten children is not a desire, it is a need! After over a year of hard work, a new playground is almost ready to be built! However, we need our Fall City families to come together for one last push to make this a new playground a reality for our kids!

What we need: Donations! During these economically tough times, our FCES PTSA has been able to secure most of the funding for our playground from grants—free money donated to our school from various community organizations, but we are still a bit short! We still need to raise $6,000 to make this playground become a reality!
