Each year the FCE PTSA sponsors the Scholastic book fair as a service to raise books for the school library, classroom libraries and home libraries. The fair will be happening from Monday, Oct. 31st thru Friday, Nov. 4th. You will have the opportunity to shop before, during, and after school on Monday-Thursday from 8:35am to 4:00pm, and Friday from 8:35am to 1:45pm. In addition it will be open during the spaghetti dinner on Thursday evening, Nov. 4th, from 5:00pm-8:30pm.
Teachers will have their wish lists available for families to help fill up classroom libraries. A special board will be setup in the Library containing each teacher’s wish list.
For every two books you purchase, receive one book for free. The PTSA is again offering this generous offer to all our customers. It’s a great way to put more books into the hands of our students.
A successful fair requires a lot of volunteers. If you love books and love to “scan” items into a cashier, we have various openings for two hour shift cashiering all through the week and Thursday evening. We also need help setting up the books on Thursday afternoon, Oct. 27th and takedown on Friday, Nov. 4th. If you'd like to volunteer your time with the book fair, please contact
