The FCES Chess Club meets on Wednesday afternoons from
3:30–4:30pm in the school library. Students from kindergarten
through fifth grade are welcome. The club offers students the chance to
improve their chess-playing skills through instructions, puzzles, and
friendly games.

We are launching a new program this year to ensure 100% of our
students are reading at or above grade level. FCES and PTSA are
providing the tools and training to reach up to 60 children across all
grades. Imagine the impact on our entire school when we bring 60
children up to grade level reading and beyond!
