What Does the FCES PTSA Do?
When your child comes home excited about participating in the Walk-A-Thon, attending an assembly, enjoying a special
Sci/Art day, reading with a volunteer or hired tutor, donating food for
Foodball, or inviting the whole family to Book Fair/Spaghetti Dinner/Ice
Cream Social/Science Night — just to name just a few — you have
made a difference in your child’s life through your commitment to FCES
PTSA.
We also work hard to keep all FCES parents informed of issues and events
that impact our students. We do this through this web site, email,
meetings, and printed news. As one parent wrote us last year:
I wanted to take a moment to thank you for tirelessly keeping me informed
of important events that affect my children. Choir, the Bond Issue etc. I
don't have the time to be as connected to the school as I would like to be,
but your emails have reminded me to plan for a couple of Dad's days on
Fridays that were really enjoyable. And I would have missed the bond issue
entirely … I did want to show my appreciation, even if it is this
simple email.
Thanks
Scott Sharpe
