Walk-A-Thon

The PTSA is holding it's major fundraiser of the year, the 11th annual Walk-A-Thon on Thursday, October 6th. The Walk-A-Thon experience teaches fitness, team work, goal setting and school spirit for our kids. Over 125 parents join in - it is a favorite tradition in our community!

Every child benefits with your Walk-a-Thon pledge - guaranteed. 95% of all Walk-a-Thon pledges proceeds collected fund programs including: teacher classroom mini grants, math and reading tutors, sci-art, assemblies, author visits, art docent, musicals and plays, field trips, emergencies preparedness, school directory, newsletters, safety programs, and the 5th grade Seabeck outdoor program. This year's goal is $60,000. All donations are Tax Deductible!

THANK YOU to the FARM HOUSE MARKET for donating the snacks and to the PADILLA FAMILY for donating all of the water for Walk-A-Thon. THANK YOU to KIDZ BOUNCE for helping with the special party planned for class & lap winners coming up soon and to FRANKIE'S PIZZA in North Bend for providing pizza for the party. Also, THANK YOU to IMAGING NORTHWEST for photographing the event and donating 100% of profits from the photo sales to Walk-A-Thon.

How To Pledge
START COLLECTING PLEDGES - SEPTEMBER 2 (FRI)

When pledge envelopes come home on September 2nd, ask for pledges from friends, family, neighbors and co-workers. Send a Friends and Family Pledge Email to make pledge collecting easier. Pledges can be made two ways: “flat”, those which are collected now, and “per-lap”, those which are collected after the Walk-a-Thon.

Payments can also be made two ways: by check, payable to FCES PTSA, or made online with a major credit card.

Flat pledges can be turned in anytime after the envelopes go home on September 2nd, but you can continue to collect online pledges up to October 14th.

CORPORATE MATCHING

Double your Walk-A-Thon donation with your corporate matching funds! Many local companies have programs including Boeing, Microsoft, Chase, and UPS. To see if your company has a corporate matching program refer to this list. Simply return your company matching form from your HR department and PTSA will handle the necessary signatures to obtain the matching funds.
