Our goal is 100% participation from our entire school community!

  • Membership is open to all family and community members who want to support our Fall City community

 

  • There is no need to volunteer, but your gift of service or time is always welcome

 

  • Monthly meeting attendance is not required, but is a great way to find out what is going on, give your input and connect with our community

 

  • Each membership strengthens our voice and ability to advocate for our students and school

 

  • Membership is valid for one school year

 

 

 


 

Individual Membership: $15/year

 

Family (2 Adults) Membership: $25/year

 

Teacher/Staff Membership: $10/year

FCES PTSA Mission and Goals

 

Support programs, materials and equipment that enhance and extend current district curriculum opportunities for our children.
To achieve this goal, we provide:

  • Academic enrichment grants to support teacher determined classroom needs
  • School-wide assemblies and parent education
  • Academic enrichment to support school improvement goals
  • After School Program coordination

Raise money to help fund programs that support and assist teachers and school staff in providing the best possible education for our children.
To achieve this goal, we organize:

  • A fall Walk-A-Thon as our main fundraiser for the year
  • A spring Raffle and Silent Auction as a second fundraiser
  • School participation in no-effort fundraising opportunities including: Box Top for Education and Fred Meyer Community Rewards
  • Other community and corporate fundraising including corporate matching and volunteer hours

Promote healthy and active lifestyles within the student population.
To achieve this goal, we sponsor:

  • A fall Walk-A-Thon

Promote family involvement in PTSA events, fundraisers, school-wide functions, and promote sense of community.
To achieve this goal, we sponsor and organize:

  • Family fun nights including the Science Fair, Spelling Bee, and others
  • Book fair and related events that provide books for the library and teachers
  • Field Dat at the end of the year
  • Committees for yearbook and spirit wear

Educate and inform parents through consistent and accurate PTSA communication.
To achieve this goal, we will:

  • Create and maintain bulletin boards that communicate upcoming PTSA events, general information, and celebrate our students
  • Provide updates in the school's newsletter
  • Provide updates in the PTSA newsletter
  • Maintain the www.fcesptsa.org website
  • Utilize Facebook and Instagram to reinforce communication with parents and families

Follow WSPTA best practice guidelines.
To achieve this goal, we will:

  • Clearly define goals with activities/programs supporting these goals
  • Attend Fall & Spring WSPTA conference workshops and District Council PTA meetings or workships
  • Attend Snoqualmie Valley PTSA Council meetings
  • Continuously recruit new members, families and staff
  • Encourage co-chairs and increase the volunteer base at FCES
  • Conduct two financial audits per year
  • Recognize our volunteers
  • Host three General Meetings per year
