Walk-a-Thon

 

We are excited to kick off the Walk-A-Thon as our first fundraiser of the 2023-2024 school year!

Funds raised during the event help to support all of the great programs, activities and events throughout the school year, as well as provide teachers and staff with supplies needed to give the students the best year possible.

We want to promote a healthy lifestyle to our students and the community. Please help us reach our fundraising goal by supporting the Fall City Elementary School Walk-A-Thon. We have teamed up with Get Movin’© to make this event fun and profitable with online mobile friendly technology!

Walk-A-Thon Day Details

  • Pack your kiddo a water bottle with their name on it
  • Make sure they have comfortable shoes (they'll be walking for 2 hours) 
  • Students will be provided 2 snacks during the Walk-A-Thon

Lunch 
You may come and eat lunch with your student tomorrow, whether or not you signed up for the BBQ lunch. Lunch schedules have been adjusted, so please be sure to check their lunch time and area they will be located. Siblings may attend with an adult, but must stay with their adult at all times.

All family members who are joining their child for lunch need to sign in on the sign in sheet by the front doors of the school and place a green visitor sticker on the exterior of your clothing. Join your student in their assigned area to eat lunch (unless you ordered lunch, see below).

If you ordered the BBQ lunch, please make sure you load money to your child's account BEFORE lunchtime. Adult meals are $5.75 and student and sibling meals are $4.75. Before going to your child's assigned area, please enter through the side doors and proceed to the Multi-Purpose Room to get your lunch and meet your student back outside in their assigned area.

When lunch is over, students will be dismissed to recess. At this time, please say goodbye and sign out on the sign-in sheet.

Walk-A-Thon Volunteers and Visitors
There will be two tables our front for visitors and volunteers to sign in and out.

VOLUNTEERS: If you signed up with the PTSA or your classroom teacher to volunteer for the Walk-A-Thon, please proceed to the VOLUNTEER table. Sign in on the VOLUNTEER sign in/out sheet and place a yellow volunteer sticker on your clothing. After signing in, proceed to your child's classroom (if you signed up as a lap counter) or follow the instructions emailed to you from the PTSA (if you singed up with the PTSA).

VISITORS: If you are just coming to watch your student in the Walk-A-Thon, please proceed to the VISITORS table. All visitors will sign in and out on the VISITOR sign in/out sheet and place a green visitor sticker on their clothing. After signing in, please proceed to the field area and find your child's classroom sign. For the safety and security of all students, visitors may not go to their child's classroom. Siblings may attend with an adult, but must stay with their adult at all times. Snacks provided by PTSA are for students only.

    -  Help your child reach their goal fast!
