Event Information
What is the difference between raffle baskets and the online auction?
The raffle baskets are made up on donations from classroom families and are displayed in the hallways of the school for the week leading up to the raffle. Students can place tickets in the buckets to win the baskets. The auction is online through the Auctria platform. It is a showcase of local businesses that have donated their goods and services to help support our school community. Many of the donors are Fall City Elementary parents.
What is there to do at Falcon Family Fun(draiser) Night besides put raffle tickets in buckets for baskets?
The Spring Scholastic Bookfair will be open.
Additionally, families will be picnicking and playing on the playground that evening -- they may even be able to cheer on some friends at the Little League games that night!
So much going on, come hang with some friends and meet some new members of our community.
Will there be any food options?
We typically have a few food truck options - more information will be available closer to the event.
Raffle Information
What is the green envelope? Do I have to use it?
Paper permission forms/envelopes will be in student backpacks close to the event (exact date closer to the event) in green envelopes. Simply fill out the permission slips and payment (cash or check) should be returned to the Main Office. Tickets will be sent home after payment is received and processed.
If you do not want to send payment to school with your student, you will be able to purchase raffle tickets in-person the day before and day of the event.
Checks should be made out to "FCES PTSA"
Why can't I purchase raffle tickets online?
Due to Washington State gambling rules, raffle tickets cannot be sold online. All tickets must be purchased in-person.
When do I need to get my tickets submitted by?
All tickets must be placed in buckets for desired basket(s) typically by about 6 pm (exact time to be confirmed) on event day.
How and when will I know if I won a basket?
The raffle will begin typically about 7 pm (exact time to be confirmed) in the Gym, where we will draw a winner and announce in front of the crowd. Winners can pick-up your basket in the hallway, immediately after the winners are announced.
Please note: Parents MUST accompany children into the gym and to pick-up the basket.
Auction Information
When does the online auction run?
The auction typically runs about 3 days, ending on event day at 10 pm.
How do I bid on online auction items?
You will access our Aucturia event link (link will be available closer to the event) and create an account. Browse the catalog and place your bids. You will get notifications on your bids and outbids while the auction is open.
When do I get the items that I win?
Winners can pick up their items the day after event day. More information will be available closer to the event.
